Simulation of the magnetic mirror effect of Particle-PLUS

Introduction of case studies! Specializing in simulations of low-pressure plasma or low-temperature plasma.

Our self-developed particle method plasma analysis software 'Particle-PLUS' is suitable not only for plasma analysis applications but also for fundamental research on particle confinement using electric and magnetic fields. In this case, we newly constructed a simulation model aimed at high-precision evaluation of the magnetic mirror effect, confirming that the calculation results, such as magnetic moment and loss cone region, are consistent with the results predicted by particle kinetics. The processes that can be calculated include PVD using magnetron sputtering, CVD using capacitively coupled plasma (CCP), and spatial control of charged particles using electric and magnetic fields. 【Features】 ■ Excels in simulating low-pressure or low-temperature plasmas, which are difficult to compute with fluid models ■ Supports non-equilibrium particle systems that do not follow Maxwell distribution ■ Capable of full model analysis using 3D meshes ■ Enables fast analysis by using axisymmetric models and planar models with 2D meshes and symmetric boundary conditions *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

【Cu Energy】Energy-saving effect simulation with copper ions

In addition to cutting drug costs, energy-saving effects and CO2 reduction are also expected.

We will introduce a case study based on Company D's implementation of "Cu Energy," simulating the energy-saving effects of compressors. In the case of one unit, before implementation, the annual energy consumption was 86,352 kWh over 257 days, with an annual electricity cost of 949,872 yen (11 yen/kWh) (reference electricity unit price from 2017). After implementation, the energy consumption was simulated to decrease by 17,476 kWh per year, resulting in an annual electricity cost reduction of 192,236 yen. The introduction of this product is expected to lead to cost savings on chemicals, as well as energy savings and CO2 reduction. For more details on the simulation, please refer to the published catalog. 【Before Implementation (×1 unit)】 ■ 24H energy consumption: 336 kWh/24H ■ Annual energy consumption: 86,352 kWh/257 days ■ Annual electricity cost: 949,872 yen (11 yen/kWh) *Reference electricity unit price from 2017. ■ CO2 emissions: 36,095 kg-CO2/kWh *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
